<h4 style="text-align: center;">Chris grew up in humble circumstances, learning early that nothing is handed to you and that stability is built through hard work, persistence, and character. Raised by a hard working immigrant mother and a father who owned a small business, he saw both the promise of this country and the daily grind it takes to carve out a future here.</h4><h4 style="text-align: center;">He learned what it means to stretch a dollar, to keep showing up when things are tough, and to value the dignity of work. He also saw how quickly progress can be threatened when families are one setback away from falling behind, and how important it is to have leaders who understand that reality firsthand. That lived experience formed the path he chose as an adult, including his decision to serve in the United States Marine Corps. For Chris, service, sacrifice, and duty to others aren’t just words used at election time, they are principles that have guided his life and define how he sees leadership.</h4><h4 style="text-align: center;"> The Marine Corps reinforced what his upbringing had already taught him: Real strength is earned, real leadership is accountable, and real patriotism is about serving something bigger than yourself—putting country over party and the common good over personal gain.</h4>

As Texas grows, too many families are being priced out of the opportunities our economy creates. Chris will ensure that small businesses get the support they need to thrive while championing workforce training, fair pay, and practical economic policies that lift up workers.<h4>Supporting Small Businesses</h4><ul><li>Keep public dollars local. Prioritize state and local contracting opportunities for Texas small businesses and entrepreneurs so more of our tax dollars stay in our communities.</li><li>Streamline rules without weakening protections. Remove duplicative or outdated regulations and fees while maintaining common-sense worker and consumer safeguards.</li><li>Create tiered incentives for employers that provide any qualified health benefit and support Direct Primary Care (DPC) options alongside coverage to improve access and reduce downstream costs. </li></ul><h4>Respect for Workers</h4><ul><li>Support policies that raise wages so full-time work can reliably cover basics like housing, healthcare, childcare, and transportation and prevent families from falling behind as costs rise.</li><li>Strengthen workplace safety and enforcement so that hard work in Texas is rewarded with stability, respect, and a real chance to get ahead.</li><li>Protect Texans’ right to organize and speak up on the job so the people who keep our economy running have a real voice in the decisions that affect their pay, safety, and livelihoods.</li></ul>

Public schools are the backbone of our communities. Chris will fight to keep public dollars in public schools to ensure that every child has the chance to learn in a safe, well-funded classroom, and so that every young adult pursuing an education beyond high school has the resources they need to succeed.<h4>Strong Public Schools</h4><ul><li>Keep public dollars in public schools. Ensure our public schools are fully funded, and reject any program that shifts funding to private schools at the expense of our local ISDs.</li><li>Increase the basic allotment so school funding keeps pace with inflation—giving every student access to great teachers, safe classrooms, and the resources they need to succeed.</li><li>Defend religious freedom and the separation of church and state. Our public schools should welcome every student without imposing any religion in the classroom.</li></ul><h4>Higher Education</h4><ul><li>Expand school-based and community partnerships that address food insecurity, reliable transportation, and access to child care for student-parents.</li><li>Defend free speech and academic freedom on college campuses: Protect students’ right to express their views and peacefully protest, and faculty’s right to teach.</li><li>Improve access to reliable high-speed internet and modern hybrid learning infrastructure so students can stay on track academically without being penalized for where they live, the hours they work, or the responsibilities they carry at home.</li></ul>

Every Texan deserves the fundamentals of a stable life—affordable housing, food security, and healthcare that doesn’t break the bank. Chris will fight to make sure no one in Williamson County is forced to choose between paying rent, getting necessary healthcare, or feeding their family. <h4>Affordable Housing &amp; Property Taxes</h4><ul><li>Fight for fair property tax policy that doesn’t push long-time residents out of their homes.</li><li>Streamline local permitting processes and reduce unnecessary regulations to increase housing supply and make homes more affordable for working families.</li><li>Lower the current 20% cap on how much a rental property’s taxable value can go up each year for landlords who charge fair-market rent or less. That way, renters are less likely to end up paying more than 40% of their income on housing and utilities, and responsible landlords get a break on their property tax bill. </li></ul><h4>Access to Basic Healthcare</h4><ul><li>Expand Medicaid so that working adults who fall in the coverage gap—earning too much to qualify for Medicaid, but not enough to afford insurance—can access basic preventative care like cancer screenings, manage chronic conditions, and fill prescriptions without choosing between medication and their rent or mortgage payment.</li><li>Normalize mental health as part of preventive care so that people are more likely to ask for help early. This drives earlier intervention, better outcomes, and lower long-term costs.</li><li>Push for further expansion of maternal and postpartum care to reduce complications, improve outcomes, and support healthy families. </li></ul><h4>Food Security &amp; Local Agriculture</h4><ul><li>Support urban agriculture and community gardens to increase local food production, provide hands-on education, and expand access to fresh produce in neighborhoods with limited grocery options.</li><li>Provide property tax relief or incentives for farms that produce food for local markets, helping family farms stay viable while strengthening regional food systems.</li><li>Support agricultural workforce development with training programs, apprenticeships, and partnerships that prepare young people for careers in farming, ranching, food production, and agribusiness.</li></ul>

Ensure large new loads, especially high-demand industrial facilities and data centers, pay their fair share for needed infrastructure and reliability improvements.</li></ul><h4>Disaster &amp; Infrastructure Preparedness</h4><ul><li>Build a resilient, weather-ready power grid. Prioritize reliability upgrades that keep the lights on during extreme heat and winter storms, with clear performance standards and consequences for repeated failures.</li><li>Drought Preparedness: invest in long-term supply and reliability. Strengthen statewide drought preparedness by funding conservation, reuse, efficiency, and regional projects that protect Texas’ water future for families, agriculture, and business.</li><li>Protect critical infrastructure and vulnerable Texans. Require stronger continuity plans for hospitals, water systems, and emergency services, and improve outage communication and protections for medically vulnerable Texans.</li></ul><h4>Water Security &amp; Air Quality</h4><ul><li>Safeguard communities during rapid growth. Require environmental impact reviews and public notice for high-pollution projects, and ensure local residents have a meaningful voice before permits are issued or expanded.</li><li>Protect Texas rivers, aquifers, and rural wells. Strengthen groundwater management, require responsible permitting and mitigation for high-impact projects, and protect recharge zones to prevent over-pumping and long-term supply degradation.</li><li>Reduce exposure to harmful emissions and dust. Support targeted measures that limit particulate pollution and toxic exposure, especially in areas near concrete batch plants, construction zones, and major roadways, through stronger permitting conditions, operational best practices, and compliance inspections.</li></ul>

Communities are safest when officers are well-trained and well-supported, behavioral-health needs are treated early, survivors are protected, and public systems are transparent, fair, and accountable.Chris supports law enforcement and investing in a public-safety strategy that prevents harm before it happens, responds effectively when crises occur, and builds lasting trust between residents and the institutions meant to protect them. <h4>Public Safety Rooted in Prevention</h4><ul><li>Treat mental health and substance-use crises as public-safety priorities. Expand access to crisis response teams, counseling, and long-term recovery services so people in acute behavioral-health crisis are met first with care and clinical support—not unnecessary incarceration.</li><li>Equip officers with the training, tools, and standards to serve effectively. Invest in continuous professional training, including de-escalation, trauma-informed response, and mental-health crisis intervention, alongside clear performance standards, transparent reporting, and meaningful accountability.</li><li>Strengthen domestic-violence prevention and survivor protection. Increase funding for shelters, trauma counseling, legal advocacy, and coordinated safety planning, while expanding access to evidence-based intervention programs that reduce repeat violence and improve long-term outcomes.</li><li>Cut recidivism through re-entry, employment, and stability supports. Expand education, workforce training, job placement, transitional housing, and case-management services for formerly incarcerated Texans so people have a real path forward instead of a revolving door back into the system.</li></ul>

It means Texans, not politicians, can make their own personal healthcare decisions, guided by their families, their doctors, and their faith. And it means you can organize, worship, protest peacefully, and petition your government without fear of retaliation or punishment.<h4>Voting Rights &amp; Fair Maps</h4><ul><li>Protect equal access to the ballot box. Guarantee every eligible Texan can register and vote without needless barriers, intimidation, or partisan interference.</li><li>Fight for fair maps that reflect communities instead of politicians’ self-interest, and defend the basic democratic norm that winners take office and losers concede.</li></ul><h4>First Amendment Rights</h4><ul><li>Defend free speech, religious liberty, and peaceful protest for all Texans. Protect constitutional rights consistently and without viewpoint discrimination.</li><li>Protect the right to organize. Defend workers, students, parents, and community groups who band together to advocate for their interests, including the right to petition government and participate in civic life.</li><li>Strengthen whistleblower and anti-retaliation protections.
