Freedom, Privacy & Democracy

Freedom means every eligible voter can cast a ballot and have it counted, without intimidation, obstruction, or gamesmanship. It means Texans, not politicians, can make their own personal healthcare decisions, guided by their families, their doctors, and their faith. And it means you can organize, worship, protest peacefully, and petition your government without fear of retaliation or punishment.

Voting Rights & Fair Maps

  • Protect equal access to the ballot box. Guarantee every eligible Texan can register and vote without needless barriers, intimidation, or partisan interference.

  • Fight for fair maps that reflect communities instead of politicians’ self-interest, and defend the basic democratic norm that winners take office and losers concede.

First Amendment Rights

  • Defend First Amendment rights for all Texans. Protect speech, religious freedom, and peaceful protest.

  • Protect the right to organize. Defend workers, students, parents, and community groups who band together to advocate for their interests, including the right to petition government and participate in civic life.

  • Strengthen whistleblower and anti-retaliation protections. Ensure Texans can report misconduct and demand transparency from elected officials and government agencies without retaliation.

The Freedom to make Personal Healthcare Decisions

  • Keep government out of the exam room. Protect the right of Texans to make private medical decisions based on medical facts and personal circumstances—not political mandates.

  • Protect patient and physician autonomy. Ensure doctors can provide medically appropriate care and patients can receive it without fear, delays, or politically driven interference that increases risk and undermines informed consent.
